Employee leave calendar

The Employee Leave Calendar shows who is off on which days, in a month grid, so you can spot clashes before approving leave. It opens at /leaves/team — reach it from the leave area of the workspace.

  1. Leave Management — Open the Leave Management group in the menu.
  2. All Leave Requests — Then choose All Leave Requests.

Steps

  1. Open the Employee Leave Calendar.
  2. Use the filters to focus the view:
    • Status — Approved, Pending, or All Statuses.
    • Leave Type — pick a type, or leave it on All Leave Types.
    • The employee picker — pick one employee, or leave it on All Members.
  3. Use the ‹ and › arrows above the grid to move between months, or click Today to jump back to the current month.
  4. Click an employee's name inside a day cell to open a Leave Details pop-up for that request.

What you'll see

  • Stats cards at the top: Employees, On Leave Today, Pending Requests, and Total This Month.
  • A Leaves in [month] row of badges showing how many leaves of each type fall in the displayed month, each with the leave type's colour dot.
  • An On Leave Today panel (when anyone is) listing each person off today with their leave type, the date range, and the day count.
  • A Leave Statistics card with This Month, Employee Count, and Avg. Leave/Person.
  • The month grid: each day cell shows the people on leave that day as small avatars with the leave type's colour dot. If more than three people are off, it shows "+N more". Hovering a day shows a tooltip listing everyone off with a status badge.
  • The Leave Details pop-up (opened from a name) shows the employee name, leave type, duration with day count, status, and reason.

Tips

  • Half-day leaves are marked with "1st Half" or "2nd Half" next to the leave type in the On Leave Today panel.
  • The employees shown depend on your role and reporting relationships.
