Shifts

A shift is a work-schedule definition — a start time, an end time, and the days of the week it runs. Open the screen from the left menu under Settings → Master Data → Shifts.

  1. Master Data — Open the Master Data group in the menu.
  2. Shifts — Then choose Shifts.

What you'll see

The list shows these columns:

  • ID
  • Name
  • Code
  • Working Days — small badges for Sun through Sat; the days included in the shift are highlighted
  • Status — Active or Inactive
  • Actions — edit and delete

Adding a shift

  1. Click Add New.
  2. In the Add Shift panel, enter a Name. The Code is generated for you automatically.
  3. Optionally add Notes.
  4. Set the Start Time and End Time.
  5. Under Working Days, tick the days this shift runs (Sun through Sat).
  6. Use the Status switch to set whether the shift is active.
  7. Click Create.

Editing or removing a shift

  • Click the pencil icon on a row to open the Edit Shift panel, change the details (you can edit the Code here), and click Update.
  • Click the delete icon and confirm in the Delete Shift dialog to remove it. This cannot be undone.

Tips

  • Use the search box above the list to find a shift by name or code.
