Policy acknowledgments
The Acknowledgments page tracks who has — and hasn't — confirmed they've read each policy, across every policy in one place. Open it from HR Policies > Acknowledgments in the left menu.
- HR Policies — Open the HR Policies group in the menu.
- Acknowledgments — Then choose Acknowledgments.
Steps
- In the left menu, choose HR Policies > Acknowledgments.
- Use the All Policies dropdown to focus on one policy, and the All Statuses dropdown to show only one status.
- Use the Search acknowledgments... box to find a row by employee name or code, policy title or category.
- Click a column header to sort.
- Click the eye icon in the Actions column to open the full detail for a row.
What you'll see
The table has these columns:
- Employee — the assigned person (avatar, name and code).
- Policy — the policy title.
- Version — the policy version the employee was assigned.
- Status — a coloured badge:
- Pending — assigned, not yet acknowledged.
- Acknowledged — the employee has confirmed reading it.
- Overdue — the deadline passed without acknowledgment.
- Expired — the assignment is no longer current (for example a newer version exists).
- Assigned — when the policy was assigned.
- Deadline — when the acknowledgment is due, if a deadline applies.
- Acknowledged — when the employee acknowledged it.
- Actions — open the acknowledgment detail.
The detail panel
Clicking the eye icon opens a slide-over showing the Employee, Policy, Version and Status, the Assigned, Deadline and Acknowledged dates, the Assignment Note (if one was given), and the employee's Comments (if any).
Tips
- For the acknowledgment totals and list for a single policy — Total, Acknowledged, Pending and Overdue counts — open that policy from All Policies and look at its details page. See A policy's details.
- To create new acknowledgment records, assign the policy to the relevant employees. See Assigning a policy to employees.
