Microsoft 365

The Microsoft 365 screen is the overview of how Open Core HR employee accounts line up with Microsoft 365 accounts. It shows how many employees are linked, who still needs an account, and which accounts have been disabled. Open it from Microsoft 365 in the left menu, under the Settings heading. This screen is for super admins only.

  1. Microsoft 365 — Open Microsoft 365 from the menu.

What you'll see

At the top, a status bar shows:

  • Auto-Provisioning — whether new employees automatically get a Microsoft 365 account (Enabled or Disabled).
  • Email Domain — the domain new mailboxes are created under (for example, @yourcompany.com), when configured.

Below that, a row of counts:

  • Total Active — active employees in the workspace.
  • M365 Linked — employees with a Microsoft 365 account, plus the percentage of active employees that covers.
  • Unlinked — active employees without a Microsoft 365 account yet.
  • Disabled — Microsoft 365 accounts that have been disabled.

Then three tabs:

  • Unlinked — active employees who don't have a Microsoft 365 account, with their email, department, and designation. If everyone is linked, it says so.
  • Recently Synced — employees provisioned to Microsoft 365 in the last 7 days, with their Microsoft 365 sign-in name and the time they were synced.
  • Disabled — Microsoft 365 accounts that have been disabled, with the sign-in name, status, and the time they were disabled.

Notes

  • This is an overview screen. The day-to-day provisioning and account tasks (creating accounts, resetting passwords, viewing credentials, disabling and re-enabling accounts) are covered under the Microsoft 365 — provisioning and Microsoft 365 — account management sections of this guide.
  • The Auto-Provisioning and Email Domain settings shown here are managed by your administrators; they aren't changed from this screen.
