Checking in and out

You record your attendance from the Today's Attendance screen. Open it from Self-Service > Attendance > Today. Your browser will ask for location access — you need to allow it, because your check-in and check-out are recorded with your location.

  1. Attendance — Open the Attendance group in the menu.

  2. Today — Then choose Today.

  3. Check In — Start your work day — your time and location are recorded.

  4. Check Out — End your day when you finish work — your check-out time is recorded.

Steps

Check in

  1. Go to Self-Service > Attendance > Today.
  2. If your browser prompts for location, choose to allow it.
  3. Click Check In Now.
  4. A confirmation message appears and the screen updates to show you're checked in, with the time recorded.

Check out

  1. On the Today's Attendance screen, click Check Out.
  2. A confirmation message appears and the screen updates with your check-out time and total working hours.

Check in again (multiple sessions)

If your account allows multiple check-ins, after you check out you'll see a Check In Again button. Click it to start another session for the day. The screen shows which session number you're starting.

What you'll see

  • After checking in, the status badge changes to Checked In and the First Check-in time is filled in.
  • After checking out, the status badge changes to Completed and Working Hours is updated.
  • Each session appears in the Check-in/out Sessions table and the Activity Timeline.

Troubleshooting

  • "Location access is required to check in." — Your browser blocked location access. Enable location for this site in your browser settings, then try again. The screen also shows a "Location access is blocked" notice when this happens.
  • "Geolocation is not supported by your browser." — Try a different, up-to-date browser.
  • "No shift is assigned to your account." — Contact your administrator so a shift can be assigned before you check in.
  • "You are already checked in. Please check out first." — You already have an open session. Check out before checking in again.
  • "You have already completed your work for today." — You've already checked out and your account doesn't allow another check-in for the day.
