Shifts
A shift is a work-schedule definition — a start time, an end time, and the days of the week it runs. Open the screen from the left menu under Settings → Master Data → Shifts.
- Master Data — Open the Master Data group in the menu.
- Shifts — Then choose Shifts.
What you'll see
The list shows these columns:
- ID
- Name
- Code
- Working Days — small badges for Sun through Sat; the days included in the shift are highlighted
- Status — Active or Inactive
- Actions — edit and delete
Adding a shift
- Click Add New.
- In the Add Shift panel, enter a Name. The Code is generated for you automatically.
- Optionally add Notes.
- Set the Start Time and End Time.
- Under Working Days, tick the days this shift runs (Sun through Sat).
- Use the Status switch to set whether the shift is active.
- Click Create.
Editing or removing a shift
- Click the pencil icon on a row to open the Edit Shift panel, change the details (you can edit the Code here), and click Update.
- Click the delete icon and confirm in the Delete Shift dialog to remove it. This cannot be undone.
Tips
- Use the search box above the list to find a shift by name or code.
