Appeals

When an employee disagrees with a warning, they can appeal it. The Appeals screen lists every appeal so you can review the employee's case and decide the outcome.

  1. Disciplinary Actions — Open the Disciplinary Actions group in the menu.
  2. Appeals — Then choose Appeals.

Steps

  1. Open Disciplinary Actions → Appeals from the left menu. The page is titled Warning Appeals.
  2. Use the status filter and search box to find an appeal.
  3. Click the view (eye) button to see the appeal's details, or Review to decide it — see Reviewing an appeal.

Filtering and searching

  • An All Statuses dropdown with: Pending, Under Review, Approved, Rejected, Withdrawn.
  • A Search appeals... box that matches the appeal reason, the employee's name or code, the warning number, and the warning type name.

You can sort by Appeal No., Submitted, and Status.

What you'll see

Each row shows:

  • Employee — the employee who filed the appeal.
  • Appeal No. — the appeal's reference number.
  • Warning No. — the warning being appealed.
  • Warning Type — the type of that warning.
  • Submitted — when the appeal was filed.
  • Status — Pending, Under Review, Approved, Rejected, or Withdrawn.
  • Actions — the view (eye) button on every row, plus a Review button on appeals that are Pending or Under Review (shown if you have the permission to review appeals).

Tips

  • Appeals you can still act on are in Pending or Under Review status. Once an appeal is Approved or Rejected, the view button shows the recorded resolution but you can't change it.
  • Filter on Pending to see appeals that haven't been looked at yet.
