A task's details and activity

  2. My Tasks — Find the task on the My Tasks or Assigned by Me tab.

  3. Task Details — Click the eye icon in the Actions column. The Task Details panel opens.

Steps

  1. Open Tasks from the Self-Service menu.
  2. Find the task on the My Tasks or Assigned by Me tab.

What you'll see

The panel shows:

  • Status — New, In Progress, Completed, or Hold.
  • Priority — Low, Medium, or High.
  • Due Date — the due date, plus the time if one was set.
  • Assigned To — the person the task is assigned to.
  • Created By — the person who created the task.
  • Notes — any notes added when the task was created.
  • Recurring — the repeat pattern and end date, for repeating tasks.
  • Activity Timeline — a dated list of everything that has happened on the task: started, put on hold, resumed, completed, and any comments or files added. Each entry shows who did it and when, and a View Attachment link if a file was attached.

If the task is one of yours and is in progress, you'll also see sections to add an update and, when required, upload a document. See Adding a task update and Working a task.
