Managing no-dues clearances

Record your department's no-dues decision for a separating employee.

  1. Employee Lifecycle — Open the Employee Lifecycle group in the menu.

  2. NDC — Then choose NDC.

  3. Pending row — Find the clearance row for the employee and your department. The list defaults to Pending items.

  4. Process — Click Process on the row — a panel opens.

  5. Decision — Pick Cleared (no outstanding dues) or Rejected (dues to settle first).

  6. Remarks — (Optional) Notes about the decision.

  7. Submit Clearance — Save — the row’s status changes to Cleared or Rejected.

Availability

The Employee Lifecycle area may not be turned on for your company yet. If you don't see it in your menu, it isn't enabled — check with your HR or IT team.

Steps

  1. In the left menu, open Employee Lifecycle and choose NDC.
  2. Find the clearance row for the employee and your department. The list defaults to Pending items.
  3. Click Process. A panel slides in showing which department clearance you're recording.
  4. Choose a Decision:
    • Cleared — the employee has no outstanding dues with your department.
    • Rejected — there are outstanding dues to settle first.
  5. Optionally add Remarks.
  6. Click Submit Clearance.

The row's status changes to Cleared or Rejected. Once every department clearance for that employee has been recorded, the separation can move on to the final settlement stage.

Tips

  • Use the status filter at the top of the list to switch between Pending, Cleared, Rejected or all clearances.
